If you’re looking for a fun and active way for your child to stay fit, make friends, and develop important life skills, signing them up for a junior soccer club could be the perfect solution. Junior soccer clubs offer a safe and supportive environment where kids can learn the fundamentals of the game, improve their coordination, and build confidence both on and off the field.

With experienced coaches and a focus on teamwork and sportsmanship, a junior soccer club can help your child develop important social and physical skills that will benefit them for years to come.

So why not give your child the opportunity to join a community of passionate young athletes and discover the joys of soccer today?

mini roos

The mini Roos section of the club is our “grassroots” sense of the club. This is where our players first fall in love with the game.
We have a focus on skill development, game understanding and most importantly fun.

Our mini Roos comprises of U7 through to U11 with all teams being mix gendered. The mini Roos arm of the club has been in existence for as long as the club itself and has been a breeding ground for a number of our first team stars!

juniors

Vikings FC Juniors Vikings FC juniors is where our club began, with the Sebastopol Youth Club putting the first team together back in 1972 of mixed ages. The club has continued to grow from there and juniors have been and always will be at the forefront of the development of club. We have made a concerted effort over the past 15 years to ensure that our junior coaches are the best available. We continually aim to be a completely self sufficient club by developing players that are capable of progressing into either BDSA (Mens and Women’s) or State League seniors. This will continue to be our goal for all Juniors that represent Vikings FC. Not only do we strive to make our junior players the best players they can be, we also want them to be the best team members and best possible version of themselves whilst representing our club.

To guide this, the Vikings FC moto is that each and every time that you take the pitch we will give it our all, and do it “For Our Mates”. This is something we encourage all our players to represent when they take the field.

This year we have teams in the u12, u13 and u15 divisions in the BDSA with our previous u17 team now moving into Melbourne Metro division one comp.
