The Vikings senior woman’s team first established in 2012 when the BDSA woman’s division first got off the ground. After a very strong start the team went on to win both league titles and cup grand finals In 2013 and 2014, with this growth the the club supported the team to enter state league division the following year with great success resulting in first year promotion.

2021/2022 saw the impacts of covid still result in a equal first place table finish. Recovering in 2022, our woman saw out a tough forgot season finishing second on the ladder , making a nail biting grand-final win all the sweeter.
Carrying this high into 2023 , with exciting new coaching coming on board and many founding players welcoming new fresh faces, and more always encouraged to come and try, 2023 is set to be another amazing year at Vikings for our woman’s team both on and off the field.
